Marta Stewart testifies to Congress on behalf of Caregivers

A couple of months ago Martha Stewart appeared in front of the US Special Committee on Aging. That’s right! Martha Stewart is a caregiver! Who would have imagined it? She testified before congress and shared her experiences as a caregiver of her mother. It was through her experience that she was compelled to start the Martha Stewart Center for Living, which is a clinic for coordinated outpatient geriatric services at Mount Sinai in New York. Her testimony was proffered along with testimony from Gerontological experts just two days after the release of a government report about the worsening workforce crisis in America.
